Default What is the best stretch marks remedies?

I have horrible red stretch marks on my inner thigh and breast. I'm not fat either. Is there a home remedy can I do? Everyone says Palmers cocoa butter, but I'm too embarrassed to ask my parents to take me. Please help!

Hi Horace

I am sorry to hear about the distress your stretch marks are causing you and I wonder if that is because you put on and then lost weight? Almost every person has some stretch marks, some worse than others and of course pregnant Ladies are well known to have them. They really aren't that bad and you might be getting yourself worked up over something that others might not even notice! There are preparation to help and keeping the skin well moisturised is always going to help against them forming in the first place. Don't be afraid to speak to your mum and dad, they will be kind and may have some useful information for you. If you really can't speak to your chemist.

Yes this can be a very worrisome problem for people suffering from stretch marks and cocoa butter is certainly said to be good. I know that women who are pregnant do use it on their expanding bump to try to minimise the appearance of the stretch marks but when all is said and done I suppose a certain amount of marking is inevitable especially if you are very tiny and then have a big stretch with your growing baby. The chemist should point you in the right direction for lotions and potions.

Drinking more water and keeping your skin moist with some quality moisturizer will decrease the chances of skin stretches. But if you got some stretches then no need to worry about as there are many treatments available in the medical field now.
