Sorry Rob i spell wrong, i mean to say Ginger juice, and i think you know what it is. Ginger when taken with honey gives a lot of comfort to your oral cavity, it is used in medicines as well. It produces a soothing effect and also work as the coolant.

Thanks for that! I have now looked it up and I can see what you mean there are a lot of excellent properties in Ginger tea. I am going to top up with it as I seem to get this quite a lot. I have had it checked out by the doctor and there is nothing obvious that I am suffering with, and no medication that he can offer so I think that your suggestion will be the best for me. I will let you know how I get on.

Yes there are so many old wives tales about what to give for a cough but I did try the tip given by Clenbut and I have to say that it worked very well! That is one that I would definitely recommend for anyone kept awake, as I was for about three weeks before I tried the ginger tea that Clenbut mentioned in some warm water and honey. It also seemed to make me go off to sleep very well, or maybe that was because I was not coughing??!!
