I know exactly what you mean. The number of times I had said to a new love that no one else came close to how I felt about them and watched them swell with pride! Still we all want to be appreciated I suppose!

Agoraphobia is a debilitating anxiety disorder caused by fear and panic attacks that limit the sufferer's daily life. Agoraphobia starts as a panic disorder. The sufferer has a panic attack inside of an elevator (for example) and then refuses to enter another one. This pattern continues with other locations until the sufferer is trapped inside of their own home. While it is a difficult process, Agoraphobia can be cured.

YOu are right Gabriela it can be cured but it would be almost impossible to overcome this condition without help. It may not sound like such serious thing but it has a huge impact on the life of a sufferer who feels an immense panic if they leave home and as such are virtually a prisoner there being unable to work or even to go shopping in severe cases.

Interesting! On a serious note though agoraphobia is very debilitating and a hotdogs condition for which people often do not get a lot of sympathy as there is nothing to see to indicate that s person is I'll as there would be with a broken limb let's say

Yes this agoraphobia is a real problem for those people that have it. It is characterised by having severe anxiety attacks and then the total inability to go out of the house or to the places that the sufferer finds stressful like crowded places which means no shopping no cinema no outing of any sort. It can be a very sad and lonely life for a sufferer.
