These are the different types of cancer breast cancer, skin cancer, melanoma, lung cancer, colon and rectal, leukemia, Prostate, Kidney (Renal Cell) Cancer, Endometrial, Bladder, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Pancreatic and Thyroid. The most common type of this cancer is the nonmelanoma skin cancer and the lowest list on cancer is the thyroid.

It is true that there are many forms of cancer, you think of a part of your body and you can get cancer in it (yes guys, even that!!) I worked in Oncology for many years in the Middle East and have seen some horrible cases because as education is not as good there, patients tend to come when it is too late and their disease is at a terminal stage. Luckily in most countries these days cancer awareness is much better and correspondingly so are survival rates. Cancers that killed a decade ago can now be controlled. We hear all the time about new advances and with more and more cancers being 'curable' surely it cannot be too long now before we beat this awful disease for good!
