I have always been the biggest sceptic about this sort of thing, particularly about alternative medicines being used to help cancer sufferers. I have even considered it dangerous that alternative therapists might mislead patients into abandoning conventional medicine for alternative methods.

That was until I met Kimberly Solari. This lady who is a Reiki master and a psychic has helped many cancer sufferers. And her message is simple. I have heard of this lady through a blog that I have read called 'melanoma Lisa.' It is really a very sad/happy story. Lisa, the young Australian lady who writes the blog was diagnosed with malignant melanoma and was told that she would not be alive past May of this year! Well she went to see Kimberley and she is still with us! There have been ups and downs but she is a firm believer in the power of sound therapy.

I have read that blog too. it is simply amazing and it should give hope to other people suffering from illness and disease and who want something to lift them. I have spoken to another man, a man who had throat cancer and went to Kimberly for healing bowl therapy. He is doing very well and through the therapy that he had made a very important decision about the therapy that he was offered, and his gamble worked. He looked great when I saw him.

I know that it is easy to dismiss these things because we do not understand them but the proof standing in front of your is a bit more difficult to dismiss! I believe that this lady never tells patients to abandon their treatment with medical doctors, she merely seeks to enhance and improve the condition of those suffering from a myriad of complaints, from depression to the most aggressive cancer.

I spoke to another really charming man, Andy Hopgood and his wife Shirley. Andy has been seeing Kimberley regularly for treatment. Andy was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2006. Had a lung removed that year and was given chemotherapy.

Andy's wife Shirley told me that Andy was relatively well until 2009, when the cancer was found to have returned, this time in his trachea. He then had a full course of Radiotherapy the end of 2009, and it seemed that the disease was under control. However in April of this year Andy started to drastically lose weight. 4 stone in a few months. A CT Scan revealed the cancer in the trachea was back and starting to go across Andy's airways in his throat. It made breathing almost impossible, especially as he was left with only one Lung. Andy also has Multiple sclerosis.

He had a stent put in his throat on the 26th May that enabled him to breath better.
He was in so much distress and coughing all the time and it was decide to start his chemo on the 8th July, Right away he was really badly ill . He kept drifting in and out of consciousness. I called and Ambulance and he was rushed into Hospital.

All of his white cells had been knocked out and he nearly died. He was in Hospital for 10 days and came home with the news that nothing could be done for him. No Chemo, nothing . He was basically coming home to die
in the meantime my brother told me about this lady Kimberley and we decided to see her. We met her for the first time on the 11th August. Right away we felt there was just something about her that was special . Andy started having sessions twice a week. and did start to feel a little better, more positive in his mind at least.

However, after one very bad night, he was again rushed into Hospital on the 29th September. It seemed the stent was badly infected and had to be removed. It was removed but his body seemed to give up and he was transferred to Critical Care. He did recover thankfully and it was decided that the stent should be left out to see if he could breath without.
To the Hospitals surprise he coped well and didn't need it again. And so far he still has not had to have it reintroduced. His breathing is better and at his last CT Scan, the Tumour had shrunk. The Doctors have no explanation.

The only thing that he has done differently to others in his position is to have his twice weekly sessions with Kimberley and her Crystal Healing Bowls. I suppose that some things seem to defy scientific explanation.
