Default If you want a baby, get him off his laptop!

I read recently that it seems that laptop PCs that use Wi-Fi could affect male fertility by damaging the sperm and fragmenting DNA. The very first world study of this area that has long been surrounded by suspicion of lowering sperm counts etc. was done into portable computers has discovered that men who rest the PC on their laps rather than on a desk or other hard surface are much more likely to be affected, The researcher has come from Nascentis, a reproductive medical centre in Cordoba, Argentina.

The discovered that Wi-Fi radiation affects sperm movement, and also damages the DNA contained in the sperm. They discovered that almost every one of the laptop users studied had damaged sperm when their samples were compared with samples from men who did not use a laptop and Wi-Fi.
Following this study men are advised only to use a laptop on a desk, and not on their knees and legs.

However, not everyone agrees with these findings, it seems. Health agencies have always insisted that Wi-Fi radiation has very low emissions, and even a year in a ‘hot spot’ is only equivalent in its emissions to 20-minutes mobile phone usage.

Whatever the arguments it seems to make good sense to me to get that lap top off his knees, if you are trying for a baby!
