You've heard the expression 'its not brain surgery' meaning that something is uncomplicated. Well brain surgery is very complicated and intricate where one false move even by a fraction of a millimetre can have dire consequences. Considering that most brain surgeons actually operate using microscopes through which they have to judge their movements inside the brain, I think we should be very grateful that there are men and women prepared to give the dedication it needs to offer us treatment in this speciality. Brain surgery can last for many many hours, and is not for the faint hearted. no wonder the brain surgeon is seen as the elite!
