Default Syncopal episodes with convulsions

Hello everyone,
Could use a little help with a situation.
My girlfriend has been having head pain for some time, but that has progressed
She had occasional syncopal episodes, but the last two weeks has had several events a day, with the events, she has convulsion type activity, into a semi-fetal position, her face grimaces like she is in pain. It does not appear to be clonic/tonic type activity, and she has no postictal state.
During events she is normal tensive and heart rates remain in the 80s throughout regardlessof activity level.
Additionally, she has clear nasal discharge, occasional numbness to left side face and extremities same side as pain. Dilation of left pupil as well.
So far MRI and an head EEG for three days, and they all come back "normal" her MD says "she does not what to do" as is tell her it is "in her head"
Trying to figure out how best to reapproach the MD, any ideas on what it may be.
Any help with this would be great, thank you.

Hi there and I am sorry that your girlfriend has had such a miserable time of it. I suppose it is possible that she has been suffering from some kind of reaction caused by a virus as they are often very misunderstood and unexplained. Otherwise I wonder if epilepsy has been considered? I think you may need to think of going to a neurologist for this. Let us know how you get on.

Hi there and sorry to read about the problems that your girlfriend has been having. It use be very frightening for her and I hope that by now you have found some help for her. If not then you can search on line for the symptoms. There are many sites that can help by giving you some sort of idea of what might be going on which will give you a starting point for visiting the doctor.
I hope you both have a good Christmas.
