Default What is the best diet for a person who suffer depression?

what should a person eat when he is suffering with depression,does chocolate and milk help to cure depression?should avoid coffee and ice-cream and sugar?

Yes I think that it is just as well to avoid a lot of artificially flavoured food and food high in salt and sugar and go for the more natural foods. In addition take a lot of exercise and get fresh air. Exercise is a natural mood elevator. If you go for a walk see how much better yo feel when you come back, it is not a miracle cure but it does help. Eat and live as naturally as possible would be my advice and try some yoga or other of this type of relaxing exercise.

hi,
Depression is the biggest problem for all people , one need to come out of this very quickly. They need to take lot of other activity in order to get involved in the depression alone.

Yes I think a diet that is high in fresh and un processed foods is best for depression combined with some exercise that really does make a difference to mood. Try it! There is certainly a connection between certain alcohols and depression and it is best not to drink if you are depressed although you might feel like it.

Green tea is a best herbal remedy which increase well health. It reduce fast to stress and strain which increase good thoughts of mind and make attractive to mental health. It make smooth to heart stroke and control on blood pressure.
