Yes the best expert is always the one with the personal experience of the problem and thanks for sharing that with us. It is important, I think that we all share our experiences good and bad and in that way gain greater insight into all aspects of our health and in the things that bother us.

Default All Acne problem solutions

This problem usually comes in teenagers due to hormonal change but if we do not take care of our skin properly then it becomes a serious problem.

1. Take balance diet.
2. Drink at least 5 to 10 glasses of a water in a day.
3. If you have a oily skin then wash your face thrice a day.
4. Avoid junk Food.

That is very good advice and I am going to pass it on to my nephew who is a sufferer. I think that the point you make is very important, it is essential to find out what skin type you are so that you can do the best for your skin type. It is one thing to get rid of the acne and another to care for the skin afterwards and that is just as important especially if scarring has occurred.

Default Natural oils definitely work

Natural oils such as jojoba oil can regulate sebum and unblock clogged pores which cause acne. People make the mistake of stripping oil from their skin using chemicals. This leads to the skin drying out and the formation of dead skin cells. The skin also produces more sebum (oil) to compensate for the dry skin resulting in blocked pores and acne. Jojoba oil on the other doesn't block pores. The essential oils of tea tree, lavender etc. can also kill the bacteria causing acne. You can make your own remedy using these ingredients or buy a ready made product such as teenage dream by mama nature. I used teenage dream and it does work. It is quite expensive, especially for a college student, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Not an overnight fix but my acne gradually disappeared over a period of about four weeks which is great considering nothing else helped. Natural remedies are definitely better than otc ones.

That is such a great post and thanks for the tips. My nephew suffers terribly from acne and has been left with some very nasty scars. One thing that he did find quiet useful has been vitamin e oil which rubbed in and massaged over the area for a long period can be of great help too, but it does take some commitment as the massaging in of the oil should be done over quite a long time (about half an hour) and in a teenagers life that is a long time!! Worth it in the long time though!
