That is very true. I cannot think of one thing that junk food is good for, except maybe the wallet! The trouble is that in lower socioeconomic groups they represent something cheap and satisfying to eat, and while that is true and while cannot afford better food, I do not see a way around it.

And that is something else that people don't do a lot. There is a massive industry around exercise with trainers and special running shoes costing the earth! I know that it is free to go for a walk but I suppose if yo live in the middle of a big city, the thought is not very exciting. but taking the stairs instead of the lift and generally moving about more can also help.

Yes there have been a lot of studies that show that you really don't have to move an awful lot to make a difference and reap the benefits. Starting with a short walk and then a longer walk and really coming to look forward to it and enjoy it. Little and often is the key if you are trying to gt into an exercise routine. Start small and work up.
