Great info ! Green tea consumption is associated with reduced heart disease in epidemiological studies. Animal studies have found that it can reduce cholesterol. However, several small, brief human trials found that tea consumption did not reduce cholesterol in humans.

Thanks for that very useful break down of what the benefits of green tea are Cuthbert. I am always amazed at this sort of thing, how something can have been around for so many years and centuries and people are still not getting it and appreciating the benefits, I wonder why that is? Does anyone know if any clinical or medical studies have been done to evaluate its properties?

Me too heard about green tea for weight loss, one of my friend drinking this green tea as morning beverage for weight loss and she said it works for her and most importantly she said that taste of green tea is also good. Having green tea is best instead of going for a green tea pills, and i think there is no green tea pills.
