Default Exercise for the disabled

As you can imagine, it is very difficult for disabled individuals to exercise the way that they would like. This often discourages them, can depress them, and can send them into a vicious cycle of no exercise and all of the bad side effects that come with that.

Please suggest any exercises that you know of that a disabled person can easily achieve? Please think of quadriplegics and paraplegics specifically.

My suggestion, exercise bikes like the Theracycle. I personally have one and love it. Every day I use the Theracycle for 30 minutes.

Well I think that all people disabled or not can be capable of some sort of exercise and when you look at what the dialled Olympic athletes achieve it is quite staggering. I think that the physic department or doctor that is dealing with a person with disability would probably be the best to suggest the exercise that they knew the person could benefit most form and that would be a very good place to start.
