Hi Drenthe

I think that all fish oil is good and provides omega 3 and 6 which are very beneficial nutrients for us to have. Taking it in capsule form seems to be the most popular way of taking it but of course you could always go the traditional route and eat the fish itself! I believe that oily fish are thought to be tuna and sardines, mackerel that sort of thing which would be great to have regularly in our diet.

fish oil actually comforts your joints. read studies about fish oil's effects on the bones but it really does a lot of help to our body. a good brand of fish oil capsules is Maxalife. check their site.

I am really interested in fish oil. It has been talked about a lot over the years and I do take it myself. I do not know how it works though! I suppose it is like a lot of things, we really do not understand enough about what effect a lot of things have on our bodies. I would love to know what the actual mechanism for it working is. Anyone know that and can let us have all the details?

Very true, fish oil is great for all kinds of things including hair. It is also great for joint pain etc. and for keeping people supple. In fact fish oil is a bit of a miracle food and I must say that I take a capsule of cod liver oil every day and I really do think that this does help with joints and the aches and pains that we all seem to get as we get older! I do know that it is also good for the hair!
