Default Transdermal gels - application where?

Hello

My doctor has given me testogel. it says to apply it on the shoulders or the stomach but can't you apply it on your feet? Socks are usually the last thing I put on so that gives it plenty of time to dry (I like to walk around barefeet). Good idea or bad?

Also, is there a reason you can't apply it on your chest as long as you take care with your nipples? Is this just because the alcohol can damage your skin or is there another reason why you can't apply it onto your pecs?
