Default Diabetic-md Helps to fight feet ulcers

As you know one of the most dangerous complications of diabetes is feet ulcer which can cause the amputation. The issue worries me as I'm a caregiver of my grandma who is having a wound which is hard to heal. Here's what I read recently:

Please share your experiance or theuseful information regarding the issue. Thanx in advance!

Hi Kelly

You are very right, this is a problem that has to be kept a eye on. You know the old saying -out of sight out of mind? Well often leg ulcers or problems on the legs especially in older diabetics are not noticed as quickly as they would be when on a place that we look at all the time like our faces.

For that reason it is vitally important that diabetics and their care givers like you keep an eye out for anything unusual that might lead to an ulcer, like a cut that is not healing and report it to a doctor as soon as possible so that the doctor can start treatment as early as possible.
