You are so right Amo, time after time this unassuming little berry comes out top of the list for everything from antioxidant property to slimming aid to anti-ageing super food! I am going to make it a regular on my shopping list from now on. I really believe that the most natural things are the things we should be concentrating on rather than man made supplements which may OD us good but not as much good as the things that are all around us and occur naturally in nature.

Another great fruit and a new drink is the pomegranate. I have just started drinking the new Pom everyday. it is really nice and has a lot of health benefits. I love eating pomegranates but I think they can be a bit fiddly and I am not so keen on all the mess of trying to get the pips out. The drink and indeed anything with pomegranates is great for you, cull of oxidants etc.

If you haven't tried it, try some, it really is being heralded as a new super food and it is truly delicious too!

I have heard that about blueberries. I think that they really deserve the title of 'super food!' I know that when I have a muffin I always choose a blueberry or maybe I have missed the point a bit there??!! Seriously though, eaten on cereal or with other fruit in a fruit salad they are great. I am not so keen on them on their own though.
