How can you tell if you have sun damage on your face?

It is quite common for the face of the skin to develop brown spots on it which are a result of sun damage and of course lines and wirnkels will be worse and appeare earlier on a sun dmamged skin. Dermatolgoists and those who treat this kind of damage have a machine that can show up the damaged area of the face under a special light and it is quite frightening to see as the damage might not be obvious to the naked eye. Freckling is another sign of sun damage. They say that you should always wear the highest sunblock on the face.

That is all very true Jack and unfortunately I know to my cost the results of not using sun cream. I used to live abroad and although I am fair skinned I never used anything. Now my skin shows definite signs of sun damage and I am suer that it will not be long become I have some sort of a skin cancer. The same was true when I was a child, lots of time in the sun and no protection although in those long gone days it was not so recognised what the effects would be. Live and learn!!
