Poor you, I feel sorry that you are feeling so ashamed of the way that your teeth look. It is true that the first thing that anyone sees is our face so it is important that we feel comfortable with how we present ourselves to the world. I don't know how bad your problem is and I am assuming that you have tried the many over the counter teeth whitening products that you can buy. These range from toothpastes that keep teeth white, although I think you will need to have attained a certain degree of whitening before you use these, as a maintenance. There are tooth whitening kits on the market and you can buy these either in a drug store or even on line.
Probably the best advice is to see your dentist and try to find out from him or her why your teeth are becoming so discoloured. There are some things like smoking, drinking black tea and coffee and red wine that do our teeth no favours, but there may be something that your dentist can suggest for you. The hygienist at the dental practise should be able to help with tooth cleaning and in the worst case, if nothing else can be done it might be possible for you to have veneers, artificial sheaths that fit over your own teeth and that can be as white as you want them!
I hope this helps!
