Poor you, I feel sorry that you are feeling so ashamed of the way that your teeth look. It is true that the first thing that anyone sees is our face so it is important that we feel comfortable with how we present ourselves to the world. I don't know how bad your problem is and I am assuming that you have tried the many over the counter teeth whitening products that you can buy. These range from toothpastes that keep teeth white, although I think you will need to have attained a certain degree of whitening before you use these, as a maintenance. There are tooth whitening kits on the market and you can buy these either in a drug store or even on line.

Probably the best advice is to see your dentist and try to find out from him or her why your teeth are becoming so discoloured. There are some things like smoking, drinking black tea and coffee and red wine that do our teeth no favours, but there may be something that your dentist can suggest for you. The hygienist at the dental practise should be able to help with tooth cleaning and in the worst case, if nothing else can be done it might be possible for you to have veneers, artificial sheaths that fit over your own teeth and that can be as white as you want them!

I hope this helps!

I actually asked my dentist the question about how to whiten teeth and he told me the process called Deep Bleaching. I guess that is the treatment needs to be performed by dentist.

Someone on the web also suggest trying baking soda plus hydrogen peroxide (never tried and do know if it is safe)...

Bleaching your own teeth with a home made whitening kit is not going to be a good idea. Above the teeth are the gums which are flesh and while enamel that makes up teeth is very hard, flesh is not! Using peroxide which is effectively bleach may do an awful lot of harm. I really think that this is a job that needs to be done professionally for the first time. It will probably be possible then to keep up the whitening yourself with recommend tooth pastes and preparations. Don't take the chance, get professional help. The expense will be worth it and if you keep up the maintenance you should be fine after that!

Default Teeth Whitening tips

Following tips are effective for teeth whitening:
1. Make a toothpaste by mixing the baking soda and the hydrogen peroxide and use it regularly. It will remove all stains in a month.
2. Rub the inner part of the orange peel for whitened your teeth.
