Smile Re:Teeth Cleaning

I too think that cleaning the teeth in every 3 months is not a good idea I think we should go for 6 months as I'm doing the same and experience is good so far so I recommend you for cleaning you should wait 6 months after you have done one.

I am not really sure what the professional cleaning process is with teeth, or how abrasive it is. I imagine in that in the hands of a professional it would do teeth no harm but I must say that once every three months does seem to be a bit much, I am sure that they could be cleaned every 6 months at the time of the regular check up. I am always aware of the danger of removing enamel from teeth.

Default Teeth Cleaning

Hi,
Every patient has the right to question the dental professional who is about to provide a service and if you are not comfortable with the answers then get up and walk out and find another office. You also have the right to ask to see the sterilization area and talk to the dentist before you have any procedures done.

That is very good advice and I think that in some ways we are afraid often to challenge 'professionals.'
In this day and age however, it is very important to understand and be comfortable with what is being done to you and never be afraid to ask about anything that you want to, politely of course!!
