Default Teeth Cleaning

Is it good idea to have your teeth clean every 3 months? I heard if you have you teeth clean too often, not good for your teeth. Is this the truth?

Hi Timothy

This is a question that I have asked myself, as I too have heard that if your are to vigorous or use the wrong products it can damaged the enamel of the teeth and cause all kinds of trouble. I think that the best thing should always be to have the teeth professionally cleaned by a dentist or hygienist so that you can be sure that the teeth are not being harmed by over vigorous cleaning. I believe that some of the over the counter cleaning solutions and perhaps more especially the whitening solutions can cause a lot of damage and make it very expensive to get thing put right. Bearing that in mind it probably is worth the expense of professional cleaning and perhaps at the same time you could have a word with the dentist or hygienist and ask what they would recommend as an over the counter cleaner for the teeth that will not do any harm. Let me know if you find something good!

Well i think it is a bad idea to clean your teeth every 3 months because there is a layer coated on your teeth which after getting cleans gets away..And your teeth become rough..So i suggest you to brush your teeth daily instead of thinking of getting clean them...

It is true that we have to be very careful of the coating of enamel that covers our teeth. Once this layer has gone it is gone forever and as you say the teeth will be rough and dull looking for ever more!

By far the best idea is to get the teeth whitened professionally. This may sound like it could be very expensive but not nearly as expensive as putting things right if you have a bad experience of whitening your teeth by some other method that goes wrong.

Your smile is your hello to the world, don't compromise it!
