Hi, I'm from Birmingham, England and am preparing to have quite a lot of dental treatment. I have to have one implant which will cost £2000, a crown which will cost £800, and possibly a root canal and another crown. I have a massive fear of the dentists and always avoided going when I was younger. I had two root canals but wasn't advised on getting the teeth crowned and now those two teeth are quite damaged and one will need to be taken out completely whilst the other one can still get crowned.

I'd also like to get my teeth whitened, I figure that now I've started to get my teeth the way I want them I might as well go all the way. I can't remember how much the whitening will cost. I think £400 or something. My question is, has anyone gone abroad for treatment and was it worth it? Where did you go? The implant procedure is quite long and would take at least two trips, one to prepare and one to fit the tooth. Has anyone had this procedure done abroad? Are you happy with the results?
