Nice to hear that RobT! But there are still some of us who would like to make ourselves even more delectable and also it is not always for you men that we are doing it! Don't flatter yourselves! A lot of us have out own personal ideals of how we would like to look or an area that we think we need to work on to make us feel the best that we can be. I think that how we think other women perceive us is often a bigger catalyst than trying to alter our appearance to appeal to men. Cosmetic surgery is now within the grasp financially of many more people than it used to be, but unfortunately with the rise of interest and affordability has come the attendant rise in barely qualified charlatans ready to take our money and give us botch jobs. I think that must always be the first watchword for this type of surgery, research and be as sure as you can of the professional you are going to offer up your body to!

Default Medellin - Colombia - a very good option

i have heard that the city of Medellin in colombia is one of the cosmetic surgery capitals of the world. For those of you in North America, you may want to consider some of the cosmetic surgeon options in Medellin - my understanding is that the cost of such options and expertise in Medellin certainly merits consideration.

Thumbs up

I had not heard of that one. I know that from this side of the world cities in Poland, in Prague and in other countries in Europe, health tourism is continuing apace. I have visited some of these centres myself and while some are very good (in particular Bodies Beautiful in Prague|) there have been some horror stories from others. I think that the watchword has to be that proper research has to be done into the centre that you are thinking of attending. What would be good would be a comprehensive list of clinics everywhere, their facilities and a sort of star rating like for restaurants! I'm up for the job!!

Great info and it would be great to hear from someone who has had experience in these places. I must say that whatever the cost I would be too chicken to go somewhere so obscure in terms of every day reference but that is not to say that it would not be excellent. I really hope that we can get some first hand feed back from a former patient, that would be great. The programme on UK TV last night was on again with some more horror stories about cosmetic surgery gone wrong, and some of the cases were horrific. It does make me want to reiterate the fact that you really must do your homework, wherever you elect to have cosmetic surgery.
